How to unlock a PDF

Remove the password and the print / copy / edit restrictions from a PDF you own or are authorized to access, so it opens and works normally. Free, no watermark.

Password-protected PDFs are a chore when you open them every day — a bank statement, a payslip, a policy document you have the right to read. This tool removes the protection so the file opens without a prompt and lets you print, copy and annotate it.

You will be asked for the current password if the PDF needs one to open. Only unlock PDFs you own or are authorized to access — do not use this to bypass protection on documents that are not yours.
